Club History

The Kiwanis Club of Coarsegold was charted in September of 2001 by its official sponsor, the Sierra Oakhurst Club. It is one of 17 clubs in Division 5, which is one of 47 divisions in the California-Nevada-Hawaii District, the largest in Kiwanis International. In addition to supporting the global efforts of Kiwanis International, the Kiwanis Club of Coarsegold services the community of Coarsegold, California, and other nearby communities.

We are a club of about 20 members, representing many diverse business and professional classifications throughout the Eastern Madera Community. We meet the2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at Stoney Creek Baptist Church. 35300 Hwy 41, Suite 201 (in the Historic Village, next to Alfonso's Mexican Restaurant) for dinner and a speaker on various subjects of interest around our community. Be sure to call to verify location information.

We enjoy fellowship and fun at meetings, work projects and fundraisers. We publish a weekly e-bulletin, keeping membership informed of activities and events in the community, the district, and international organization.

For further information, please join us at one of our meetings, or give us a call at either (559) 683-3017 or (559) 642-4507.
